Suministros necesarios
Paint the Walls
Use the color of your choice on all the walls.
Draw the Lines
I drew groups of horizontal lines 16 in. apart. Each group had a wide line measuring 4.5 in. and skinny lines measuring 1 in. wide on either side. I used a piece of FrogTape® Multi-Surface Painter's Tape to fill in the space between each line.
Aplicar cinta
Use FrogTape® Delicate Surface Painter's Tape along the lines.
Paint the Horizontal Lines
Paint the lines in two different colors. I used a dry brush painting technique for a distressed look.
Consejo profesional: Put a little paint on your brush and then wipe off all excess paint on a paper towel before lightly brushing the paint on the wall.
Remove the Horizontal Painter's Tapes
Remove the painter's tape of the horizontal Stripes
Draw the Vertical Lines
I drew groups of vertical lines 14 in. apart. Each group had a wide line measuring 2.25 in. and a skinny line measuring 1.25 in. wide. I used a piece of FrogTape® Multi-Surface Painter's Tape to fill in the space between each line.
Tape Off & Paint the Vertical Lines
Use FrogTape® Multi-Surface Painter's Tape along the lines and then paint the lines in two different colors using the dry brush technique.
Despegar la cinta
To reveal the design, peel off the FrogTape®, and then the pattern is complete!
